April 27, 2006 - Summer Big, Summer Small With the deluge of freebies having come to a near-halt, I feel like I've been away for a while every time I don't update the site for a week... Anyway, a response came back from Colgate-Palmolive today. The letter is dated March 27, so I have to wonder what happens for the month between writing the letter and actually receiving it... Colgate must take their enthusiasts very seriously, however, seeing as how my very official title of "Personal Care Enthusiast" was included on both the envelope as well as the response letter. In Colgate's response, Summer Small (the letter respondent), tells me that like so many other companies, Colgate doesn't send out samples and such. They did, however, send over ten coupons (with a total value of $6) good for a personal-pampering-potpourri-of-products — with their "compliments". I never really got that. "With our compliments". What exactly are they complimenting? My use of the Internet? My fancy self-adhesive envelopes? My apparently excessive amount of free time? Anyway, thanks to Colgate for the goodies.
